In this extraordinary seminar we will discuss a current research proposal about the sharing economy. SE is creating high expectations as one of the key strategies for growth and for public and social transformation, while the disruptive impact of corporations like Uber and AirBnb is also generating considerable controversy. SE-platform-mediated activities occur in a regulatory vacuum, and the question of which policies are likely to be more beneficial has become a key concern. This project aims to contribute to overcoming the current challenging situation addressing sharing policies, and sustainability of sharing economy.
